EGX - ESO Gear Exchange
This AddOn allows you to export gear data from your inventory and bank and then format it to either TSV or HTML which you can post here: http://www.thesidekickorder.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=191 in order to trade/sell/giveaway gear ... (IMG:style_emoticons/28/bye1.gif) _______________________ Download: http://www.thesidekickorder.com/uploads/ESOGearExchange.zip _______________________ Installation: Download the AddOn and unzip it into your: "C:\Users\YourUserName\My Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns" folder. _______________________ Usage: After installing the AddOn, log into your character(s) and export your character inventory you want to share. You can also export your bank inventory. Type /egx for info on all available EGX commands ... Simply type: /egx export inventory /egx export bank in the chat window to save your inventory data to the AddOn "SavedVariables" file. You need to do the inventory part for each character you want to export from. The bank part you only need to do once since it's shared. NOTE: You need to logout or type /reloadui to trigger an actual save of your data! _______________________ Upload and Conversion: Once you saved all your data, go to this url: http://www.thesidekickorder.com/uploads/egx.php It allows you to upload your data file 'ESOGearExchange.lua' which is located in: "C:\Users\YourUserName\My Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\SavedVariables" You can play with the settings on the upload page but generally the default settings are all you need to post your data here. Once your data is converted it should appear in the "Conversion output:" window to the right. If you chose TSV as your output format you can copy everything from the output window and directly past it into Excel to create a spreadsheet. If you chose HTML as your output format you can copy everything from the output window and directly past it into a post here on the forums. _______________________ Posting your Data: You can attach your excel/tsv files to a post here by using the "File Attachments" option. You can paste the HTML from the output window directly into a post here. NOTE: Make sure you select "HTML On - Raw Linebreak Mode" when posting your data, otherwise it will not show correctly. Also note that you will have to add manual linebreaks to the rest of your post by using a <br> at the end of each line. (IMG:style_emoticons/28/type.gif) |

Updated:
## 1.7.1 - Fixed crash when used in conjunction with the pChat AddOn. pChat will crash and burn if one writes nested colorized strings to the chat window! EGX now detects if pChat is loaded and then omits some of the chat info coloring to prevent ESO from freezing. |
